Interaction Designer. Here’s what I’ve been doing on the Internet:

Instead of wireframing on paper, we are essentially building the site before we build the site, focusing on information architecture rather than any other visual design issues, in an environment that enables a user experience as true to life as possible

The most recent phase of this Partners Film project has been to find a quick-flip spot jumping solution for self-steering time constrained users.

Hammering out a frontend framework to give this Tumblr a Metro-style nav.

Need to commit a weekend to the interactive layer, simulating touch events and animations to help this menu feel more at home in your hand.

Biggest challenge I’ve had adapting Metro interface to HTML/JS/CSS has been acceptable cross-platform performance of (really quick) 3D animations. Need to look more at Microsoft’s own solutions.

(On your iThing, “Add to Home Screen” *for a few minutes* to launch and play around as if native iOS).

Found a chance to continue playing with “Metro” style menu tiles (demo here). Considering improved use of widescreen real estate by bringing list into (partial?) view.

Quick Mobile Video

Partners Film are one of Canada’s leading commercial production companies. Representing the unique voice of each of their directors is the core of their business, and reliable video hosting and reel sharing is central to that need.

Over the course of this year-long project I guided Partners in clarifying their site audience with personas and user journeys, engaged in extensive information architecture planning, and ultimately delivered front- and backend for this mobile optimized responsive site design to support their brand and business.
